Silver Threads consist of a small group of ‘older’ performers who entertain social clubs with Old Time Music Hall songs and monologues.

The performers generally (!) cheer their audiences up and invite them to sing along to old familiar numbers.

Silver Threads do not charge for their performances despite their hard work rehearsing, learning lines and finding lovely costumes to perform in. Our director, Valerie Tomalin, is a remarkably talented pianist, a retired music teacher. There are eight of us in the group, four men and four women.

We perform one show a month in and around Gloucestershire. Am happy to say that our future bookings run from November 2025 – April 2026 and we even have one booked in October 2026.
